Once again I notice something in the media that just is shocking as it relates to the next generation. What is your groups attitudes toward marriage? Have you taught on marriage and defined it via scripture? Most youth pastors would not even thing that was relevant a few years ago. Now with the subject of gay marriage so prominant, we have to help students form a theology of marriage. Add this to the mix. 20/20 did a report on open marriages recently. They managed to find an odd assortment of people who are all dating each other but married. The open marriage means dates and sex and includes same gender relations. This stuff should be on the margin of society, not getting mainstream approval. Take a look at the article and video here.
