Dr Brown has a proposal…

I have long thought that to do what Steve proposes would be the most powerful way to run a youth group… or a church…

Because God likes me and because he knows how discouraged I get about myself, about others and about the church, he regularly allows me to see the “real deal.” If I didn’t see the real deal sometimes-in others and even sometimes in myself-I would throw in the towel (if I knew where to throw it) and become a turnip farmer.
So I was mightily blessed and decided to bless you by telling you about what happened.
And I have a modest proposal…

    Funny, I told my staff this morning that this is the way I plan to start my semon series in November– What the Church has to Learn from AA.

    I’m suprised Steve after all these years just made it to his first meeting. The truth is, most cynics go dragging to their first meeting. I hope he keeps “coming back”, he’ll discover it works if he works it… and God does like him; all the more reason to work the program.
