Over the summer, we assigned a book for the new members of youth commission to read. We spent some time discussing it at our training day in September and I was impressed to see how much they comprehended. My thinking is that all teens need to read this book. It is short, moves very quickly through lots of great material that is explained in the simplest of ways. The book is called Dig Deeper and gives readers a set of tools for understanding the Bible correctly. Tim Challies, a blogger I read regularly said this about it… “Though there are many books that teach how to dig into the Word and to learn from it, many do so in a way that is difficult to understand for new Christians or young Christians. Dig Deeper by Nigel Beynon and Andrew Sach steps nicely into that void. “
