Follow the Wind: Our Lord, the Holy Spirit
Steve Brown

I grabbed this book when ordering some other titles by Steve Brown – after taking a course taught by him. Part of what motivated me was the price ($3.99). Steve’s style is earthy and witty. He has a knack for telling it like it is (as he sees it) knowing that he may offend or upset others, but he does so in love. This book was a good review of the work of the Holy Spirit in a plain and simple fashion. What he accomplishes best here is showing clearly what the majority of the work of the spirit actually is. That puts this book in contrast to many other books on the spirit that mainly focus on the unique gifts of the spirit. It is a great perspective! The publishers description summarizes the book well…

“Some things we learn from God are through feeling. Explore the Holy Spirit’s role and find out how the Holy Spirit can lead us to God’s truth and to walk with Jesus. Using candor and wit Professor Brown reveals the Holy Spirit for who the Spirit is and by the work of the Spirit. Learn how those works affect and influence your life for better living and satisfaction in the Lord.”
