Greg Stier weighs in on the film that I posted reviews of previously. Like anyone, he jumps on the whole D6 thing with both feet but then disagrees with the premises of the film with a very different perspective than others whose reviews I have read. I’d love to think he is right in his analysis, but I fear he is reading contemporary culture into scripture. See for yourself what he says… (oh, and one does not need to see the film to appreciate or disagree with his perspective). He does identify the weaknesses of the film though and his recommendations are good. I was just struck by his characterization of scripture which I have heard over and over from youth ministry folks.
