Okay, this is a somewhat embarrassing post. Back at YS convention in Charlotte last year I got cornered by Will Penner, editor of the Journal of Student Ministries who asked me if I would
take a few moments to be interviewed for a video podcast. I was nervous, uncomfortable, but had no good reason to decline. I am sure that the very few people that will actually see this will be impressed. The sound level on my mic was weak as was my presence in front of a video camera (I actually hate to see or hear myself recorded). I do think though that something of my experience and perspective is captured in it (which I think was the goal). I am not fond of tooting my own horn and I was very reluctant to post this because I do not want anyone to think I believe myself to be in the same league as the ‘experts’ in youth ministry that are featured in the video podcast series. (the bio does sound impressive though!) However, I was persuaded to post this for any of you that don’t get the JSM email newsletter.
